Popi Act agreement

Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare : POPI Act AgreementPOPI Act : Social Media, Photographic and Video Footage Permission Form

As you are aware, due to certain individuals exploiting children and taking inappropriate photos, the POPI Act was drafted and approved to protect the children of South Africa.

Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare need your written permission to allow us to use your child’s photos and videos for our Facebook page and WhatsApp groups.

We hereby agree to the following terms:

All Photos taken will be done in the best interest of the child.
No Photos will be sold or distributed without permission from the Parents and/guardians.
All photos will have a positive impact on the child's self-esteem and will in no case lead to this individual being portrayed in a negative light
All Photos and footage will be made available to the parents on request.
Photos used on Social Media will be in good taste and will uplift the image of every child.

Hereby I Grant the necessary Permission Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare to take photos required for Facebook and Whatsapp Groups. *I ApproveI Do Not Approve

Consent

Do Herby irrevocably and unconditional:

Consent to my/our child taking part in all the activities of Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare, unless specifically instructed by me/us in writing to the contrary;
Confirm and agree that my/our child will, on a regular basis, participate in physical activities Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare;
Confirm and agree that all activities in which my/our child engages or undertakes are at my/our own risk and that I/we will have no claim of whatsoever nature against Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare or/and of its staff or owner;

3.1 for any loss or damage to property owned by me/us from whatsoever cause arising and/or
3.2 for any loss or damage or compensation arising from or in respect of any physical injury of whatsoever nature which my/our child might sustain whilst at Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare and/or
3.3 for any loss or damage or compensation arising from or in respect of any injury of whatsoever nature which my/our child might sustain during an extra-mural activity provided by outsourced providers, in which my/our child may participate whilst at Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare and/or
3.4 for any mental or emotional stress or damage which my/our child might sustain caused by any incident/s or accident/s of whatsoever nature whilst at Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare

And I/we hereby indemnify against and hold harmless Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare, its staff and owner, from any liability which may be incurred arising from any aor all of the foregoing;

Any Special Instructions

I understand that as long as my child/children is/are enrolled at Meerensee Preschool and Aftercare that:

1. The school fees are payable in advance.

2. Should my account not be paid, my child/children will be suspended until the account has been paid in full. All accounts will be handed over. (see point 5)

3. I hereby undertake to pay the school fees by no later than the 7th of each and every month, including holidays from January to December.

4. Accounts not settled by business closure of the 7th of each month will be liable for an additional late payment penalty of R200.00

5. Accounts not settled by the 14th of each month will be handed over to our debt collectors. Any additional cost charged by the collecting agency will be paid for by the client who has been handed over by Meerensee Preschoool and Aftercare.

6. A notice period of 1 (one) month in writing or fees in lieu of the 1 (one) month’s notice period is payable if my child/children leave/s Meerensee Preschoool and Aftercare.

7. I hereby acknowledge that a full month’s school fees is payable if my child/ren are not attending school on account of illness or being on holiday.

8. No deductions will be made in respect of absenteeism.

Penalties:

1. A R200 penalty will be charged on all fees not received by business closure on the 7th of each month.

2. A R50 penalty will be charged for every 15 minutes a child is collected after the session time ends.
